Is it abnormal to laugh in the car on the way home from an abortion about what i just did?

Your gonna get a lot of slack for this one, but....... as unusual as it sounds everyone deals with pain in their own way. I once had a friend and she received a phone call that her boyfriend was just killed in an accident and the first response was she laughed. It's just a shock to you when something that drastic happens, so while it's not usual it could just be your way of dealing with it, not that you think that it's funny.

Abnormal...yes. But I would believe that this was just a better outlet for you to deal with the brevity of the situation. There are some people who express themselves quite differently on the exterior though the interior is the same as others. So whether we laugh or cry during hard times is a matter of preference but deep down inside we all feel the reality of death.

Laughing is one of the body's responses to a very difficult and stressful situation. Sometimes, it sure beats crying! I wouldn't feel bad about it, just make sure you give yourself the time to emotionally recover from the situation. Even if you are die-hard pro-choice, it's still an emotionally trying situation.
If you are trying to be funny and this is not a serious question, well abortion isn't a funny subject. It demeans the thousands of women who have had to make that difficult choice. Take your perverted brand of humor elsewhere. If this was a serious question, please ignore the last 3 sentences.

Imagine the world full of even more unwanted children. Tell the republicans and jesus people to raise all of these children when abortion is illegal.

Soon we will be as disease ridden as Africa with impoverished, homeless and uncared for children.

Most knocked up mothers are too poor to afford the abortion, so they have the child....what a additive to society?

If this were posed as a serious question, first off you just had major surgery on your body....so no one would allow you to drive right after that. Second off, you would be in too much pain to laugh. Grow up and get a life, what a horrible subject to be playing with!

No, its just your mind and soul trying to keep it together over what has just happenned. Your going to go through many many emotions, none of which are "abnormal". You should get some counseling though, it is not easy to get over.

Laughter and crying are very similar emotions and both are cathartic. It's not something I would find funny, but we all cope in different ways. Don't beat yourself up about it.
