I met a guy who is now looking for something else to do with is life. It seems odd that someone would go through so much education to be a doctor and then give it up so early. He now doesn't seem to know what he is going to do with his life. I met him online and am a little suspicious. Is it possible that he was never a doctor or that he lost his license or that he does want to do something else instead? I am very weary of him.

most likely a suspended lisence!
being a doctor is something you just quit at!
once a doctor, always a doctor... except if hes liscence was suspended!
try to look up some medical thingys and try to ask him... (nake up some excuses).. if he doesnt respond correctly, he is lying about that doctor thing!

I really feel and I am just going on a hunch that he said he was a doctor just to draw anyone in to talk to him but as soon as things were getting intense between you and him, he had to drop the doctor bit. I hope he is a doctor so you can talk some sense in him to still help others. You could actually look up a doctor's credentials. Ask for his name and look him up.

i have met professionals that just did what their parents told them they woulb be..ie doctors lawyers etc..and they were unhappy.. maybe ur friend did not want t b a doctor and is now able t stand up n say i dont want this.....but at th same time check on your concerns because they could b true

I've known quite a few doctors (as well as nurses) who suffered from severe burnout.

what you said could be the case....or mabye he just got tired of it..just be careful.... but you will find out the truth sooner or later
