i'm 15 and so is he. so whenever we were in history class last year, he kepton asking me how the tests went for me.. but then when we get them back he braged that he got A's. And then on the street, he randomly called out my name, and started asking me if i knew for the final would be graded. i mean hello!! do i look like the teacher?? I never gave my name to him and his friends don't know me. he was in the history class after mine.. so he couldn't have known my name from class.
my friend says he's not shy at all.. so if he liked me.. wouldn't he have already asked me out?
so this year we have a class together, but it's been 4 weeks and he hasn't said anything. nonetheless, i find him staring at me all the time. and today he finally talked to me to see if i understood a concept. all i said was "no". i felt so awful afterwards!! do you think he'll talk to me again? what does it seem like he wants?

Whoa, calm down and step back a second. So are you interested in him or not? It sounds like you are now. But you're kind of cutting him off because you're not taking any action. That's why he stares at you in class: because that's all he's allowed to do now as far as he's concerned. If you really like him, you might as well go up and talk to him. Doesn't matter what you talk about; talk about anything you want. It's not the end of the world if you have those little silent, awkward moments, but you'll never get anywhere with him if you don't have the guts to say something to him. Can't think of any other advice at the moment, but I'll post again if I have something that I think might be useful for you.

Ok, so i'm 22 years old and still having that same exact problem with men. The problem is that at 22 they are still the exact same boys they were when they were 15 years old. It sounds like his asking you about school is the only thing that he has to bring up to you in conversation and he's taking advantage of it. It's the same as a little boy punching a little girl and then running away. My suggestion is to just step it up and next time he comes around asking you about this concept or that test, just say 'Well i'm not quite sure, but if you have time, i'm going to study in the library and maybe you'd like to study with me.' Many guys like a take charge kind of girl and it's been my experience that honesty has been the best policy. Good luck, and trust me, you'll be running into this problem for many years to come.

If he is not a shy person then he simply is shy towards you. You blow his mine. He is probably stunned by your beauty. Talk to him if you like him. He may just want to go out with you and don't know how to ask because he doesn't want to seem like a fool.

He want's to clear his exams with A's and only A's.You also study well and get only A's like him.

It means that he's one of those annoying guys that likes you! It's his way of paying attention, but he's a guy and they all have their own ways of communicating with us girls, even if it's not exactly the way we'd like them to talk to us...like making us feel stupid, or self-conscious, or just plain invisible!
