I don't know how to check for a spark. and i've had the car for about a year without changing them. All the relays are good.

i own a repair shop,,and it sounds like it has no spark to the spark plugs its possible the ignition has went dead on it,,either that or it has lost its fuel supply to it,,It has to be something simple if it was running good one day,,and then stopped,id check the ignition first to see if i had spark to it,,and then check for fuel,,if it has both of them,,and hasn't jumped timing it has to run,but that would be a good starting point to find out what might have happened to it,,good luck i hope this help,s.

Check for spark and fuel If you have both It's a cam sensor unplugged or bad. You may have a fuel pump relay that bad. Something could have arched wrong or their is a wire they forgot to hook up at the battery. they may have disconnected the battery and there is a wire that fell and they didn't see it when they reconnected the battery. Start with the battery first then check the other problem I mentioned. You'll find it. Ps. Use a flash light! trust me.

It takes 4 things to make an engine run.fuel-fire-compression-timing .check to see if its firing(pull a plug wire, stick a screw driver in the end hold the metal part of the screw driver 1/8 in from something metal-you should see the spark) check to see if you are getting fuel(pull the fuel line turn the switch on) If these things are present it could be the timing.I am assuming the compression is OK- it would smoke like hell if it wasn't.

Either no spark or no gas. If you smell gas then you aren't getting spark. The starter is apparently turning over the engine. If the belt is tight then neither is your problem. How are your plugs? Did you have any trouble beforehand?

left a wire of the starter the little purple one that didnt look important. could be red but more than likely if you look there will be a little wire thats left off down under there before you go to far up on top. not the big positive battery cable . the other ones take a look they go on the little nuts next to the battery cable.on the starter

sounds like a fuel problem, you could also check to see if your plugs are getting spark

Could have blocked fuel filter, no spark or broken belt.

3 basic rules, gotta have fuel, gotta have fire, and gotta have power. You are missing one of the three. Get to a shop, they'll find out what one you're missing, and fix it.
