Speaking as a tooth fairy I can tell you that coca cola has resulted in a veritable tooth mountain, bigger than any ever in the fairy historical documentation room. I find diet coke rather yummy but then fairy teeth aren't coated in enamel. Remember to brush after drinking and then we slim fairies don't end up with muscles like a troll from carrying the tooth bags from room to room.

There is no sugar in it.
A can of Diet Coke contains 355ml (12 fluid oz)2 of beverage that is free of calories, fat, protein, and carbohydrates. It is not totally without content however, as it does contain 40mg of sodium and 46.5mg of caffeine3. Other ingredients include caramel colouring, aspartame, phosphoric acid, and citric acid. While it doesn't show up in the list of ingredients, there is a warning on the can to people with phenylketonuria that Diet Coke contains phenylalanine. Not surprisingly, the leading ingredient in Diet Coke is good old water.

there is no sugar in diet coke in the form of sugars but if you read the can it does contain caramel which is made from melting and boiling up sugar, so unless they have found a way of making caramel without the main ingredient - sugar - then yes it does contain some sugar

Its not the sugar i would be worried about, its the sweetener in these drinks that is bad. Apparently aspartame causes bleeding in the brain.
