I would get a second opinion. Have they tested her for an infection? It is dangerous if she does have one and the doctor isnt testing her or treating her.
I have heard of incotinence brought on by stress, but normally it is like a child who never wets their pants and then starts to wet the bed and wet their pants, or even have a bowel movement in their pants. I havent heard of frequent urination brought on by stress however. My son had a problem when he was 3 or 4 where he started to wet his pants after 1-2 years of being potty trained. I found out it was because he was stressed out because a friend and her daughter were staying with us and he was used to it being just me and him and didnt like the idea of a 1 1/2 year old being in the house.
The Dr. said that when kids are stressed they will often start to have moments of incotinence because they have no control over anything in their lives except that, so to feel like they are in control they will wet their pants and all that.
I would get her checked out, also ask her if it burns to pee, feels like she has to go but when she tries she cant, and check to see if her urine is darker than normal. If the dr. hasnt had her checked then demand a test, going every 10 minutes does not sound anything like stress induced urination to me.

Has your Doc done a urine test for traces of blood in her urine?
Because It sounds like it could be a urinary tract infection.
They are very common in girls and women and can be cleared up with simple antibiotics. The doctor could do a test right in front of you with a test strip (most doctor offices have these), so that your daughter wouldn't have to wait for the lab results before getting relief.
If the doc isn't willing to preform this simple request, then get a 2nd opinion. Being careful never hurt anyone.
Good Luck!

If stress is the problem, how about putting one or two lavender drops of lavender on her hanky to take to school? May be a little wind down time when she comes home, such as a cuddle while she watches kid's programmes?
Certainly now would not be the time for making any more changes in her routine. Those first few weeks are rough.

I would DEFINITLY get a second opinion if not a third, a forth, etc. until someone can tell you what's going on with your little girl. Stress does NOT cause blood in urine!
Get her kidneys, her gall bladder, even her liver looked at! This could be kidney stones, gall stones or something wrong with her liver. I know she's young to have that stuff occur, but it may. Stress is NOT the cause. Something is going on that needs medical attention.

Actually, I did hear about this. I know some toddlers that had this problem. Stress does cause their bladders to get a little "weaker". She may love school, but the excitment of it all is causing the stress. Just give it some time and it will slow down eventually. If not, go back to the doctor and see whats wrong.

I don't think that blood in urine is normal and caused by stress in a 4 year old child. Take her to another doctor. If it weren't for the blood in the urine I would say she is going to the bathroom so often because she is worried about going in her pants at school.

Has she been tested for Diabetes, or a UTI? Has she been drinking a lot of juice, water, etc. Does she seem sick or really tired? These can be signs of diabetes.
