ok, im a single dude. but, i was talking to this one girl and stuff.....and i made a date with her. but i dont want a relationship of any sort. i just dont feel like dating...and i dont know why i made a date with her. shes a cool person, dont get me wrong. but what should i do? i dont want to hurt her feelings at all if you know what i mean.

well just tell her its good to hang out and that you only like her as a friend. tell her you have a lot on your mind and don't want to be dating and want to be friends and hang out.

Okay u made the date I say go for it and take her to someplace fun like an arcade type or circus. this way u can be in public and not have to be romantic with her. And keep your date and have fun. Don't worry about it many guys have friend girls and they take them along to the races there's plenty of stuff u can do without having a relations ship building type date. U may even want to after she enjoys the date as much as u did.

Go out with her, but be casul about it and don't make it a HUGE deal or whatever. But, you also have to be nice and pay attention to her when she talks, that kind of thing. Then just make it clear on some other time then the date that you just don't feel ready to date yet, but that you really like her as a friend and all, and maybe you guys could just talk for awhile. It's nice, sensitive and also gets you out of the dating loop and more into the friendship loop. Good luck!

Keep the date. Just because she accepted a date with you doesn't mean she's looking for a serious relationship. Maybe she's looking for the same thing you are, a good friend to have fun with. Like dancing for instance. Unless she's lesbian, she can't very well go to a club for fun and dancing without a male escort unless she's looking to be hit on by every loser at the bar looking for a one night stand.

You can go on dates without having a relationship! Go out with her and have fun. You two already hit it off well enough to set up a date, it can't be all that bad. Just be as honest as possible about your feelings and expectations. Don't lead her to believe that you are interested if you really aren't. Likewise, find out what she's looking for and then proceed accordingly. If she's looking for a relationship, kindly tell her that it isn't what you are looking for and don't go out with her again!

Oh please - just go out and have a good time. What makes you think that she is going to want to have a serious relationship with you after one date.
I hated clingy guys when I was young and dating! I just wanted to go out and have a good time. Sure, sometimes there was the physical stuff and that was nice - but I really didn't want cling-ons. Don't know why you figure this girl is so into you. Just go and have a good time and play it casual is all.

Friends with benefits! Just put it right out there right away. Do not lead her on. You will benefit more from the truth. My husband and I started out as friends, and then friends with benefits. Obviously seeing only each other but not quite an item. Now we've been together 4 years and are having our 2nd baby. Good luck!

just because you go out on a date does not mean that you have to be in a relationship with that person the convesation will probably come up as to why you don't have a girlfriend that will be your chance to tell her that you are not ready for a relationship

I have a word for it but I don't want to say 'friends with benefits' say that your single but you want to be able to live the world as a free man.......and that your not the type of guy who wants to go out with some one almost 90% of his life...
