There are many vegetarian pet foods on the market today. All of them are fine to feed your dog. Just be sure to keep your yearly visits with your vet to make sure that the dog is healthy. Only you and your vet can decide what is best for your dog. I applaud you for being such an animal lover though!
My Pit is allergic to meat products, meaning that he was designed NOT to eat meat. Not every dog is the same, just as people are not the same. Many of these answers are extremely rude and uneducated.

Um, Beneful does have meat in it.
You can buy special vegetarian kibbles, just Google it. I personally wouldn't reccomend feeding your dog a vegetarian diet. They are primarily carnivores and need a significant amount of animal product to be healthy (by animal product I mean muscle meat, organ meat, and bone).

Okay umm, first you need to contact a local vet because I dont think that you should be trying to feed a dog nothing but vegetables. Dogs are like small children they have to have a certain amount of needed protein in their diet. Secondly, why would you force a meat eating animal to eat veggies just because thats how you have chosen to live. Get a rabbit man. I think that you need to rethink your position on how to feed and care for a dog for the love of god

Buy him some high quality dog food ASAP! Then you need you realize that a dog is not a vegetarian or vegan, he's going to need meat and if you honestly have a problem with it then you shouldn't have bought a dog in the first place.

A dog or a cat are meat eaters. Why do you think they have the long and pointed teeth> They are born meat eaters. Give the dog some canned foor and mix a few chopped up vegs. in it . Don't try to make it a veggie just because you are, they are not veggie. You are doing your pet a disservice.

You need to feed a dog meat. They are NOT designed to eat vegetables. They need the protein in meats to maintain proper health. If you don't want to feed your dog meat which is his proper diet and necassary for his health then I would suggest rehoming the dog and getting yourself a veggie eater such as a Guniea Pig, Rabbit, Hampster.

Sorry
a dog is a carnivore , his metabolism needs meat !!!!!
So you must give him, a meat diet
you do not have to eat his meat,
but it would be cruel and irresponsible,
to impose your Human diet on him .
The only alternative if you don't want, to feed him,
a suitable dogs diet .
Is to have him re homed
Sorry to be so blunt, but your dog will not thrive ,
on a vegetarian or a vegan menu ..
Please considered your dogs needs .
