You can try. It may not like the water, some dogs don't like to swim. Get him a doggie life vest first!

only if your dog enjoys swimming and the water and make sure u never leave ur dog unattended cuz of her or his small size. Help your dog practice learning to swim first before you let the dog swim alone while your in the water or just hold him while you are in the water.

If you want to take him or her, go ahead! Just make sure you get a doggy life vest and somebody will be watching him or her the entire time. If your chihuahua is anything like ours, he or she will hate swimming and want to go hide. lol But they're so cute!

I wouldn't recommend it but you can. If you want to be safe then keep it in shallow water and see if it wants to swim or not.

I don't see why not. Just make sure she stays on a long line so you can reel her in. ;-)
Also, bring some towels so she doesn't get cold.
