I love reminiscing. I was a child of the 70s so I loved the gummy fishes, they were like 20 for a nickel. I loved Bub's Daddy. I loved the candy cigarettes and the little wafer saucers with hard candy inside. There was fun dip when I was little and pop rocks. And 50 cents would get you a lunch bag full of candy, because it was SO cheap back then. I use to trade my Coca Cola bottles in for candy.

The candy store was close to the school. Bulls eyes (Carmel with powdered sugar in the middle), the ever popular wax lips to annoy the girls...but my absolute favorite was Christmas time, when mother would get everything out and make fudge. I made myself sick on it every year of course. Still love it today.

Hershey kisses or "silver buds" as we called them. I'm dating myself somewhat, but when I was a kid you could get two for a penny at the little neighborhood grocery store. I would usually have a nickel and could get 10!! Best deal in town.

Always chocolate----the darker the better. Hersheys has an extra dark cho collection out, but don't seem to be promoting it. I don't know why. It's the best thing they came out with in years. Maybe we're a test market.

I loved snickers candy bars (frozen was my favorite way to eat them)
suckers, I'd have to say the jolly ranchers sticks(watermelon, sour apple or fire stick) they lasted forever
