It seems to me that in the last couple of months the only people on the immigration issue who have been doing any work at all to get their point across are immigration supporters. I hear about the "outraged Americans" and how they're sick and tired of "illegals". But so far I haven't seen any of them marching the streets. Are they not outraged enought to do so?

Judging by some of the posts below people are good at complaining and complaining about "illegal" immigration but are too LAZY to march for what they believe in.

What does being outraged have to do with marching in the streets, is that all you understand? Illegals have murdered over 1 million Americans in the last 15 years. When people learn the real truth they will be marching, but not with signs, if the law fails us they will be marching with GUNS and MISSLES. IF YOU LOVE MEXICO SO MUCH I SUGGEST YOU GO BACK THERE BECAUSE THIS COUNTRY ISN'T BIG ENOUGH FOR TWO SOVERIGNTIES.

They don't march because those marches would be deemed racist or in some other way, against the law. It's the same reason I can't walk down the street naked without getting arrested.

We are almost to the point of really taking the law into our own hands and defending our country from the invaders. If we did what they did and did not work for a day, I think that bush would finally wake up and deport them before we shoot them.

Why waste time marching to show disgust? I say just pass legislation to send them all home. No marching necessary. Unless it is them who marched across the border.

That's because in our culture, we don't need to portest in the streets to get our government to listen to us, do we? We write, phone, and fax our leaders and are able to reason intelligently.
After all, those protesters haven't gotten ANYTHING they wanted , have they?
