i like this guy a ton. he is a forign exchange student. he likes me and asked me out. one of my friends said that wasn't allowed or somthing. is she right... can i still date him?

Look this foreign exchange student is exactly that. You do not need to get your feelings attached to this individual, because when he finishes his studies he has to go back to his country of origin. I say you should be general friends. you do not need to take a chance of having your heart broken. Then sometimes these people convince to ladies to go with them overseas, then they are trapped over there and have no way back home. In some cases the ladies go over there and are forced into prostitution. I am telling you as an outsider, just be friends with this guy and you will avoid any possiblity of any drama in your life.

Go for it. At least you would be able to broaden your horizon, learn something about a different culture. and don't worry, there are no laws that regulate dating. so, you are free to date all foreign exchange students you want.
