Please don't say any of the cheap brands because I've used almost all of them and they're worthless on my hair. I need to know if brands like Redken or Matrix are really as good as they say they are. I have wavy hair, frequently flatironed, that is dry and frizzy.

Ken Paves makes a fabulous shampoo and conditioner that's sulfate-free so it's really mild and leaves hair conditioned and shiny. Walgreens used to carry it, but I don't know where it's sold now, you may have to check around.

Don't use the "cream" in the tube though bc that conditioner is really heavy. Use the bottles.

I also think Redken has a wonderful line of products.

Love Halo and Redkin... be careful to read exactly what the product will do, some people just go by "smell", like those Back to basic products (which, don't work very good, for being professional stuff). You need to know how it will work with Your hair... my best advice, ask the stylist YOU TRUST.

Yes those brands are two of the best brands used in the beauty industry. Some other products that work well are Aveda, Alterna and Nexxus

Yes, professional products are as good as they say they are. You just have to find the one that works the best on your hair. If you go to a salon and ask they will help you find what you need. Just remember that you only need to use a small amount. Professional products are very concentrated.
