There are many modern Gnostic revivals of various kinds.

Gnosticism was a widespread religious orientation in the late ancient world, and it both influenced and conflicted with early Christianity.

Read Bentley Layton's "Gnostic Scriptures," or the book by Hans Jonas on Gnosticism.

Wow that is a term I have not heard of... I studied Theology and World religion for 8 years! I would google it... I think I will research this too. I like the idea of basic religous philosophy. Not literalist.... I dont' believe in that.
