It is a common blessing in Israel, and it came from a Sephardic Jewish greeting.

"Caparah" means "penance"/ "forgiveness"/ "atonement" in Hebrew.
"Alik" is an Arabic word for "on you".

"Caparah alik" is "may you'll be forgiven (by god)".
Literally: "atonement on you".
