My boyfriend really likes porn, but I hate it. I have tried watching it together and I just get jealous. I feel like he's not being totally faithful when he watches it...and I hate the excuse that "every guy does it, it's natural". I am not a real jealous person, but it makes me feel bad and I think that it's degrading. Should I insist that he not watch it, or just get over it? It's not affecting our relationship that much but just irritates me.

I read an article that stated that women that hate porn are psychologically unstable. Not that you should like it rather that hate is a strong and serious emotion

If it bothers you, then you should bring it up. If you don't it will create resentment and other feelings you don't want to have towards someone you care about.
It is not natural to have such a big thing about watching other people have sex or doing other intimate things. That is just an excuse for them to watch it. Porn makes a the intimacy of a relationship go down. It cheapens the sex that you do have.
In some religions when a man looks at another woman whom is naked for pleasure it is considered cheating.
I feel the same way about it with my hubby, so either fix the problem now because it doesn't go away when you get married.

I get irritated too..but yes most men watch porn,,,as a fantasy. Its not degrading to you because you are not the one sleeping with everyone for money. Either get over it and deal with it,,or talk to him some more and tell him how you feel. Or at least tell him to watch it when you are not around. My man is such a visual kind of guy,,not only looking at porn but likes looking at women on different sites on webcams....sometimes it bothers me and sometimes it doesnt. It really is just a man thing. Your man is not out cheating on you right??? Count yourself lucky. My man doesnt go anywhere without me,,not that it matters because i trust him completly. Hon its only fantasy,,he cant go through the tv and **** them yanno...lol...lighten up just a little.

just because he watches porn doesn't mean he don't respect you! what if you had a crush or something on some celebrity and watched or talked about them all the time, does that mean you don't respect him?? hell no!
i think your reading way too much into this and stressing for nothing. if he's good to you in the relationship and treats you right, why you stressing over porn?
you could try to spice it up in the bedroom or dump him. they are your 2 options!

I guess watchiing porn and being faithful is two separate issues. It's just very much a guys' thing to do, so it's a little difficult for us women to understand.
I think there's nothing to feel jealous over. Porn is porn, Reality is reality.

I dont think there's any serious problems unless he is over doing it.

I don't like the fact of my boyfriend watching it when I'm not there, but I occasionally watch a little myself...I don't go looking for it (rent videos...etc), but if I'm flicking through the tv and it's on, why not have a look. I think it's harmless, just be thankful that he's not at a strip joint.

Pornography is a disease, just as alcohol is. It can be addicting and if it is unchecked it can ruin your life as well as his. It gets to the point that he would rather watch porn than to having a relationship. I speak from experience. I have broken the habit, but, it took therapy and the love of God.

no your right it is degrading and it makes us women feel that thats the way the guys want to see these girls and they are sooooo fake yeah it ticks me off to furtunatly my man doesn't watch them not that he has never I caught him with one one time and have found things around the room here and there and I get mad but I never would do something like that and it is with out a doubt discusting!

no not natural but pretty normal. if you dont want him watching you have to give him something for it. if you dont give him something for it he will resent you and well your little relationship might get real rocky for a little bit and then there is him watchin git in secret. yeah tell him how you feel if he doesnt change find a new guy.
