I would appreciate receiving responses from Muslims who have an extensive knoweldge of what the Koran ACTUALLY says on this matter.

No, practicing birth control is not forbidden so long as it is not harmful to the body (the hormones in the pills can frequently be more harmful on the body that those taking them realize). The common method way back then was the "pull out" method. There's a fancier name for it, but I can't remember it. It is suggested however that if a couple is practicing birth control because they fear they could not afford it, but still desire a family, then they shouldn't worry because God has promised to provide.
Abortion on the other hand is absolutely forbidden and equates murder.

Pills are not allowed (they affect ur body anyway)

Condoms are allowed (its safe coz it is external)

birth-control is good in islam, it just depend what method u use

I am not sure about this, but I am sure just like other religions this is forbidden, but couples still use this for birth control

Well, they can't use the pork and apple flavored condoms, obviously, but are quite into the lamb and mint sauce.
