yes it is..for that kind of money you should be able to find a real nice car that is in real good shape,id take my time though when i started to buy,,just look around and See what they have to choose from,,and never let a salesman know how much you have to spend on a car, they like to ask how much do you have to spend,,never tell them the amount,,good luck i hope this help,s.

hell yes, I got mine for about 5500, its a 2000 Volvo S40, 106k miles runs perfect, and its loaded, so for one G less im sure you could get one
