As Paul writes in his episitles and as in the letter of James below, faith alone is nothing unless accompanied by action. So perhaps the greatest challenge is getting yourself to do act on your faith by helping others out and by spreading your faith to others in need

The greatest challenge is reaching a point in your walk with Christ where you think you are beyond temptation or sin. It happens a lot. Remember what Peter said, "Work out your salvation with fear and trembling", i.e., never be comfortable with your level of faith, it leads to complacency.

The greatest challenge for a person of faith is to learn how to tie their own shoelaces. They ain't none too bright.

The greatest challenge is found in knowing what to put your faith in. For instance, if someone doesn't read God's word in the correct context then they may have an idea that God has made a promise that isn't actually found in the Scriptures when they are examined in the whole context of God's word. A simple example is when a person reads the words of Jesus saying that if we ask anything in his name we will have it or if two agree on anything here on earth then then it will be done for us in Heaven. When people don't take those statements in the context of ....."And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him. (1 John 5:14-15) and "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. ( Isaiah 55:8-9) then they may have trouble with their faith when their prayers don't get answered with a "yes" that they prayed with another believer in Jesus' name.

Here's another example for you. Someone's mother or father is ill and the church elders come over and annoint the person with oil and pray for healing after the person confesses any unconfessed sins that they may have committed. Then shortly thereafter they die.

"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. James 5:14-15

A person might have believed that God was going to heal their sick mother or father and be devestated when they died. However this verse is not a guarantee of healing, rather it talks about a person being saved and "raised up" perhaps at the coming of Christ. In addition to that Psalm 139 says "I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there were none of them. (14-16)

And Isaiah 57 says "The righteous man perishes, and no one lays it to heart; devout men are taken away, while no one understands. For the righteous man is taken away from calamity; he enters into peace; they rest in their beds who walk in their uprightness. (1-2)

So as much as a person might love their parent and believe that God is good and that the prayer of faith will extend their life here on earth the Bible says that God knows how many days He has ordained for our lives here on earth and even gives a reason why some righteous people may die before what we might think is the normal course of years for a person to live has transpired.

Those things can wound a person's faith if they don't understand that they have not put their faith in the eternal God of Heaven and his Son Christ Jesus but have put their faith in their own desires and used their limited understanding to believe that God is going to sign off on them because of a passage that they have read in the Bible and their mind has distorted to give them faith in the wrong thing.

The fact that other people have opinions opposite yours but just as strong. Example, I'm not Christian nor Catholic and i think it's pure BS, but if this was coming from some one else, they'd probably put you down for believing as strongly as you do, but I myself won't do that, cause I believe in the opposite but you're not coming to me and putting me down for beang a "heathen." Do you get what I'm saying? It's hard to explain things where youre talking about God or whatnot.

One word: LOSS! Losing someone or something we hold dear can severly test anyone's faith. You'll know when your hear them ask: "Why God, Why?" or "Why me?"

But there is a level of faith one reaches when you get beyond that; you get there by following the Right Way.

To continue to share God's word with others, inspite of the ones who try to critisize or persecute me.

1 Thessalonians 2:2 But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.
