A love hex is a violation of the recipient's rights. They are being forced to love someone and might not have loved them under normal circumstances.

A money hex usually backfires and the way the money comes is usually a double edged sword.

I have about decided casting spells is better left alone. Any thoughts on this?

I somewhat agree. Casting spells to influence someone else's life and decisions is wrong, I believe. Casting spells to try to improve your own position in life is OK. Whether it works the way you intended depends on the amount of work and dedication you are willing to put into making your spell (wish) a reality. I believe that spells are tantamount to what most people call praying and I believe that you are still ultimately responsible for making things happen. I am not into Voodoo but I am into Wicca. I do not believe it is right to try and control another's thoughts and actions, only your own. In casting spells, I suggest that what we are really doing is creating the image of what it is that we want to make a reality. Kind of like a business plan of sorts. You cannot achieve it if you do not know what it is but still, ultimately, I believe that it is still up to the individual to make the spell (dream, wish) come true.

a love hex yes but a love spell could work this way: by casting the spell you send love in the universe and it will amplify it, then the love will go to the person you want. So the person may love you as a result of the great love(amplified) that you gave her/him.
Anyway, this is not voodoo. I don`t know much about voodoo but i think(i think, don`t take it as a fact) that they do not care about a persons freewill, and it is pretty dangerous. Anyway it seems way too complicated to me...

Edit: i just found out more about voodoo: http://www.religioustolerance.org/voodoo.htm

I don't know anything about Voodoo, not enough to really commint on it anyhows. Spells are like any other action. If you act to harm someone, it hurts your Karma and you end up working it off anyhow, even if you don't serve prison sentence. It's even more so with magick, as you are bringing more power to bear with your actions. Forcing someone to love you is a crime against their free will. There is good incentive to act morally and ethically. Magick is best when it is used to help you become a better, kinder, more compassionate person.

" harm none " is what I've heard is a basic philosophy for those who do practice spells. If one does evil then it will return to the person at least ten - fold. there are those who believe casting spells works, but I am cynical and personally have seen no results of one that has been cast.

u can't be serious. OK try rolling dice. or a coin flip.

When any one tells me, that he saw a dead man restored to life, I immediately
consider with myself, whether it be more probable, that this person should either
deceive or be deceived, or that the fact, which he relates, should really have
happened. I weigh the one miracle against the other; and according to the
superiority, which I discover, I pronounce my decision, and always reject the
greater miracle.

Casting spells doesn't work anyway. But you are right - I'm sure it is best left alone. Perhaps you have more productive things to do with your time anyway?
