Wake her with a cup of tea/coffee, and ask her what she fancies, then go and make it.
I love a cooked breakfast, but would not appreciate being woken up with a tray of it on my lap. You only really want to eat a big meal when you are hungry, and not when you are still groggy from sleep.

You are very sweet to ask this question!
Here are some options and I guess you won't just cook for 1 morning!!!
(if your wife is on diet because you feed her too well)
- freshly squeezed apple, celery & ginger juice, an boiled egg, fresh strawberries with plain yogurt + honey
- a glass of skimmed milk, oatmeal + milk + honey + egg (boil in a pot, takes about 15 minutes)
- tofu + banana + soy milk smoothy, a slice wholewheat toast with homemade reduced sugar strawberry jam
(if she is skinny and you like her to gain weight)
- cheese omelette or smoke salmon & button mushroom omelette, toast with butter + jam, cafe au lait, milk tea with sugar or lemon tea with honey
- American hotcakes with butter & maple syrup, fried sausage with onion slices, fresh orange juice
- scrambled eggs + bacons, blueberry muffin, a cup of hot chocolate
+ lot of kisses

Pumpkin pancakes with 2 eggs, cup of coffee, bowl of fresh fruit and one rose.
Pumpkin Pancakes:
1 cup buttermilk pancake mix
1 cup cold water
1/3 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Nonstick vegetable cooking spray
Butter, room temperature
Pancake Preparation:
In a medium bowl, whisk pancake mix, water, pumpkin, cinnamon, and ginger until just blended (do not over mix; mixture should be lumpy).
Spray a heavy griddle with nonstick spray and heat griddle over medium heat. Spoon 2 tablespoons of batter onto griddle to form each pancake. Cook for 2 minutes or until bubbles appear, then turn pancakes over and cook for 2 minutes longer. Transfer pancakes to plates. Top with butter and serve with warm syrup.

I'd say three small blueberry pancakes, two slices of crisp but not burnt bacon, one fried egg over hard, a 6 ounce glass of OJ ice cold with pulp, and a big cup of REALLY good coffee.
