Tell your wife, theres loads of things she can eat from the take away, even if shes on a diet.
INDIAN- chicken tikka or some kind of tomato dish.
CHINESE- stir fried veg, noodles.
Then that way she won't feel so bad watching you. Im on a diet too, and theres no way i'd go with out a take away, i probably have one once a week and i still manage to lose weight.

It's not fair but try and support her by eating the same kind of food as she is at the moment.
Then once a week/fortnight/month the two of you could treat yourselves to a Chinese/Indian/Take-away and that way you will enjoy it all the more as you've been looking forward to it so long!!
That way, your wife is rewarding herself for being so good and you are rewarding yourself for being a lovely supportive husband!

Which fad diet is she on this time? It is never fair when others impose their eating habits on others. You are not forcing the food on her, why is she forcing her food choices on you. Get her to excercise and just watch the quantities of food that she eats, much better than some of the diet of the day fads.

Yes Because that is a temptation for her to eat fast foods! But if she really doesnt need to loose wieght then you should maybe just stand by her and obey her wishes but you do not have to go hungry you could always COOK!

Well no it aint fair, But your wifes not letting u do this because it could mean to her that you are rubbing it in, or she just doesn't want to see the sight of them! My bf is on a diet but he dont need to be on it, but i just eat alot of crap, so i wont stop.. But it prob could help.
Try by start eating your food in another room away from her, See how she feels about that?

What really stuck out here is that u said she didnt need to be on a diet, god bless u, if she is really not overweight then she shouldnt deny you ur pleasures, tell her to go for a walk when ur having them, or if she is one of those skinny chicks on a permanent diet tell her to put up or shut up
Or come round to mine, I make a great curry with all the trimmings, papadums, raita, bahjis, etc

Yes it is fair. You are a partnership and you should help and support each other. Why not make an effort to find healthy food that you can enjoy together?

It's hard to stay on a diet when everyone else is enjoying food that you can't have. I feel bad though because you sound like my husband. I should go and apologize to him now...
