Muslims take criticism of the Quran so importantly t RECTIFY people such as yourselves mistakes. Firstly Muhammad (pbuh) did not murder anyone or install faith through violence, it was done exactly the same way as the Christians did. You obviously haven't read the Quran well enough to know Islam is a religion of peace and everything is simple that even a disbeliever can understand it. Not to forget that Islam and Christianity are practically the same in its beliefs apart from the one clear difference that Islam believes that Jesus (pbuh) is a prophet not the son of God, so you tell me that if the 2 religions r so alike, how r they different? Allah "The Muslims God" does not perpetrated agonies for disbelievers and infact allows muslims to allow others to blieve in what they want to and in fact a muslim is not allowed to impose that on another person. So ur research is infact a load of codswallop maybe next time u wanna get it right? Study the religions beforeu criticise them then ask why muslims r so critical cos its ppl like u which makes us so defensive.

A weak religion cannot stand up to any form of criticism fun or otherwise. The religious leaders know this and encourage anger and hatred against anyone who mocks their religion in any way.
If you think Christianity was promoted by love what about the Spanish Inquisition, the Witchfinder Generals, the Abigensian Crusade etc. If you look into the history of christianity, it is arguably the most evil organisation there has ever been.
Religion serves only one purpose and that is to give the people at the top power.

So was the God of the Old Testament. Christianity has survived in a large part because of the slaughter of heretics in the Dark & Middle Ages. Islam didn't begin until 600 AD. The Israelites, 3,000 years ago, were very similar to early Muslims - trying to find a home, fighting off those who occupied the territory they wanted, etc. And their God helped them do it. Islam worships the same God. So similarities are everywhere between The Koran and the Old Testament.

The comparison you make between Jesus Christ and Muhammad, the founder of Islam is very apt.
The life and activities of Muhammad should now be essential reading for everyone.
Especially as Islam is trying to make a name for itself in nations that were once the heart of Christendom.
If you had a role model like Muhammad, do you think you would ever be able to persuade intelligent, non-believers, just by preaching, that your religion was holy, loving and peaceful?
I think that threats and force would be your only option.

Have you read the Bible from cover to cover? I've read many parts of it and you'll find the same things encouraged in it as you do in the Koran. Christ himself said I come not with peace but with a sword. There are disgusting things in the Bible, but those things (just as they are in thr Koran )were part of ancient culture, and we don't follow those ideas. There are some misguided or even evil people who call themseleves Christians or Muslims who do follow these things, but that is not the majority. One fifth of the world is Muslim, don't you think we'd know if they were all evil, as you say?

If you read the Quran from cover to cover then you would not make such comments.
You have no idea of what Islam is and no desire to find out so do not misguide others!
If you really want to know what the Holly Prophet of Islam was like then maybe you should read the following from other non-Muslim writers. Its just a shame the Pope could not quote from correct sources!

this is very wrong maam.think about the crusades. and the of the muslims there are only pecies of terorisim they have done. if you have no doubt about that its your own opinion and i have no right to force you to belive diffrently. and to tell the truth of all religions if you are truthful you know that it was the jews who terorised both the christians and the muslims. they have killed who you belive in.they killed the prophets. in the hisotory of life have they said the christians terorised, no they said hitler did. when it comes to hossam bin laden they say a muslim named soso and so.killed.. islamic terror. they never said the crusades the christians killed muslims. no they called it the cruesades not the christian teror. they call it the crusades. and have you noticed that when a war happens it has to be said about jihad no maam jihad means strugle. it dosent mean any holy war. we must get trough the jihad. we must get trough the struggle. the word struggle changed into arabic itself means struggle. when there is a war against muslims and jews they say the muslims have started a war with the isreal. when there is a war bettween christians and jews they say the muslims have started a war with america. why do they have to include my religion. if a person that is a muslim starts a war with some christians then why should they add my religion in there. why is that? i belive i have every right to be angery but this is ok becuase allah told us this world is a jail for the muslims and they wish to get out of it very true. and this world is a paridise for the non belivers, live life to the fullest huh? atleast i know i was created and i know where i am going. peace

islam, christinaity, whatever religion, should accept the reality and do not try to deny it. The muslims overreacted and proved that the pope was right(even if he just quoted a historic document) by killing a catholic nun and burning 2 churches. And yeah their religion, as the christianity, was spread trough violence. And someone asked who are you to judge, well, tell him that you`re a human being with a brain and freewill and you have the right to judge everything.

Well, it's wrong to insult someone's religion. They have a right to be offended. And yes, they are very critical of Christianity too. I would suggest that you read the old testament, though. And live and let live.
