All the above answers have a danger to them. Milk freezes at a higher temperature than water. So if you place everything else in your fridge (not the freezer) the milk may freeze. But please do not turn up the temperature of your fridge too much. Place the milk lower in your fridge where the temperature is lower. If you turn the temperature up too much you run the risk of getting salmonella poisoning from any cold cuts, meat or vegetables in your fridge. This is why health magazines say to let lettuce be your guide. Lettuce has a high salmonella risk, so you want to keep you fridge at a temperature just a nudge above where it doesn't freeze. Remember the spinach articles last week? You definetately do NOT want to turn up the tempurature of your fridge. Use the lettuce guide and keep it there and park your milk on the inside rack of the fridge door on the bottom next to the vegetable crisper. Please do not do what the others told you having unfrozen milk isn't worth the risk. Today a child will die from salmonella poisoning because people wanted to save money on electricity by turning their fridge up.

Listen to Mosquitonation... He is the one who knows what he is talking about. I like my fridge really cold and my milk used to freeze. I put it on a lower shelf; it works. Don't sacrifice having a cold fridge!

because you set your fridge temperature below 32 degrees. At the top of your fridge when you open your door, read the temperature settings thing, then press the "up" arrow until it reaches about 35 degrees (that's a good temperature for a fridge)

You have your fridge temperature set too low. Turn the temperature control dial up a notch or two and that should solve the problem.

Your fridge's setting is set too high, and don't put milk in the very back of the fridge because it is very cold.
