Try calcium fortified organic soy milk. I have hated milk all my life, but I have just discovered soy milk and I love it!

Take a calcium tablet, and a Vitamin D pill so that you'll actually absorb the calcium (and get some sun as well; it has Vitamin D in it). And then there is yogurt and cheese. And don't drink much soda and other carbonated drinks. They leech your bones of calcium.

This depends on whether you are lactose intolerant or not. If you aren't, there's a lot of choices out there. Eating milk based products such as cheese and yoghurt is as good as drinking plain milk. However, if you are lactose intolerant then other choices include fortified soy milk and calcium supplement tablets.

Eat Viactiv Chocolate Chews once a day. They are good for you and have the extra calcium. You can also drink Calcium fortified Orange Juice. That is good for you too.

Cottage cheese, cheese, pudding and other dairy products have calcium. If you decide to go with supplements, including TUMS and Viactiv, take them with meals. If your stomach starts churning up a lot of extra acid, lay off the supplements for a week or so. Your stomach compensates for an antacid by producing more acid after a while. They are for occasional use only.
