I want to cut in half, prepare with brown sugar and butter, vacumm seal and freeze, can I do this?

yes. try stuffing one.. with rice and ground beef ..sorta like stuffed cabbage . awesome

I do every year after Thanksgiving. I bake the halves with butter and brown sugar and cinnamon. Then after the meal, I scoop the flesh out of all the left over halves and place in a freezer bag to use at a later time.

Sure that will not be a problem. Try stuffing it with your favorite meatloaf mix and then freeze and you will have a complete ready to cook meal.

yes as long as you cook it first... love the way your making the squash do it always this time of year...try a little cinnamon to the sugar....
