Personally, what kind of seasonal observations do you like to do? I did a little circle. I keep things pretty non-ceremonial since I moved back in with my Conservative (capital C) folks.
What associations are important for this time of year?
What dieties, if any, do you work with around this time?

I recognize the change in seasons and understand what it means to our lives. I take this time of year to do the "spring cleaning" in my own home and prepare for... hunting season. hehe... It's a time to remember that death is an important part of the cycle of life and to remember the lives we share now.

But as far as Paganism is concerned, it totally depends on which culture you have linked yourself to. Or, if it's just mainstream Wicca, it's a time to prepare for the death of the land... winter. All of these holidays were based on agriculture and hunting. This is the time of harvest and a time of sharing what one has harvested.

I don't "work" with deities. I am completely non-ceremonial. I don't do any rituals in observance of any holiday. I just recognize them for what they are and take time to reflect on the meaning of it and how that meaning affects us in this life. Rituals are only focus points for the observer and I have found I don't need the ritual to help me focus on the meaning.
