The Bible (Genesis) says Adam and Eve were made by God from 'dust'. And what color is dust? Black.

I am Caucasian, and I think we need to honor our African brothers more by helping the people in Darfur and other war-torn areas in that beautiful continent.

What do others here think? :)

Dust isn't necessarily black, and regardless, I don't think God is limited by the color of the dust. However, I very much doubt that they were caucasian, as they are traditionally portrayed in the Western world. The Garden of Eden was apparently situated in what is now Iraq. Perhaps they looked much like the people who live in that region?

I haven't been to Africa, but I do know it to be a beautiful place, and I am all in favor of helping the people of that continent.

If one seriously studies the Bible, you will find all descendants of Adam and Eve were Hebrews. They were the starting of the Jewish people, as a race. To carry this further, Cain went to another land to find a wife and build his own city. This being done after he was banned from the garden. Exiled to another land.

The Arabic people started from the time Abraham had a relationship with Sarah's handmaiden.

No dust is not Black its tan or brown and your African link does not link with other evidence and writings on where Eden was. Most all agree if Eden did exist it was somehwer ein or near what we now know as Irag! That would make Adam and Eve Middle Eastern not African

Dear Friends,
do we really know our existance in this world?simply if we go by the ehical standards we all are basically brothers-sisters to each other.it means both adam and eve are basically mother and father for all human beings;so it does not make any sense for all of us.

they had the netherthalman, peking man and probably the soloman

to believe what the bible/koran says that man is from dust/clay is just unbelieveable
now as we're writing,we don't actually decay/rot like man-figured from clay
think about it

Your dust is black? Do you live in a coal mine?

However, most genetics experts do agree that the first Homo Sapiens did live in Africa, so if your question has an answer, it must be 'yes'.

it could be possible. it could be a mix between the Bible and the theory of evolution where people "originated" from Africa. Who knows?
