I have 2 cats, but I love all animals

DOG!!! much better they are a Little more work almost like having a kid. but they are VERY loyal something cats are not and after they are trained there just like your best Friend and aside from filling there food dish and opening the door to go out they mind there own and are happy with whatever master wants to do. On the other hand if you are lazy a cat might be the thing just throw it in the house put down a litter box and go about your business there not smart enough to waist time on trying to train to do anything and there is no such thing as a loyal cat. also a dog will hush if you tell it to when it barks! ever hear a cat shut up that meowing when it gets on your nerves! sorry to the cat lovers

I don't have a dog or a cat but i like dog better because they can play games with the owner and the cat just sit they and take a nap.

I have both cats & dogs. Don't let the dog know but I like cats better.

I have a German shepherd, and I'm definitely a dog person from waay back. But I've met plenty of cats who were sweet, loving animals with lots of personality, so I would never rule out owning a cat, too.
If I do get a cat at some point, I think I'd like a ragdoll. My sister has one, and Sophie is the sweetest little thing.

I have three dogs and two cats. I like them all . But i'm more of a cat person.

i think dogs are better because cats usually only hide and sleep dogs like to play with you unless you are really lazy then a cat would be better but then you have to clean the litter box

I love both but I prefer cats. Dogs can make me nervous sometimes because if you don't know them they can bite. But cats will just run away if they are nervous and even if cats do bite it doesn't hurt. Plus I love the sound of purring.

Right now I am petless ( my bf won them in the break up :( ) but i have had both.. and love them both equally,, Cats are probably a preference because of their size and their needs ... though dogs make really good companions and seem to be less tempermental.. Which do you like better??
