It was called IV-elcro (pronounced 'fourelcro'), a very early version of V-elcro, another Roman invention that should more properly be pronounced 'fivelcro.'

Jesus persuaded God, after bargaining for 40 days and 40 nights, that an actual death was not required, and God told the Romans to use the IV-elcro, which, being an early version, gave way after 2 days.

This sent Jesus tumbling to the ground, upon which he sat up and uttered his own name angrily while rubbing his head.

That is as silly as believing someone actually walked on water. Everyone knows that velcro was not invented until the US space program in the 1960's!!!

Thanks for the 2 points!!!

Yeah, it was really just a stunt for a big commercial the Romans were doing - you don't think they REALLY put nails through the guys hands now, surely? That would've ruined his career and he could've sued them for millions!

;)

lol - I love it! I'm surprised you haven't had a decent bite yet. 10 points to Bowzer for creativity though (and making me laugh at the imagery that conjured up!).

Luke 23:34
Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots.

Excellent!

Unfortunately, due to the "sensitive moral majority" that frequents this place, your question's days are probably numbered. Alas!

Romans didn't have that kind of material back then. Try again.

If you actually believe that, then you are very gullible.
