I am someone that likes Yahoo Answers, but I don’t really have a desire for the Yahoo 360. I am not putting it down, it is just that I am a married man in his early thirties and it would not be a benefit to me.

I have seen several profiles that I can tell a lot of work has been put into them, that look great. My question is: what do you use them for? Is it for meeting new people? Keeping in touch with friend? Bragging rights? Ect…

Myspace.com is obviously bigger then Yahoo 360. Do you also have a Myspace.com account? Is this a big F U to Myspace, or is Yahoo 360 better then Myspace?

Thought?

i like 360 better.. you have control over everything.. from who get to see your pics to your blog.. now... i just use to to keep intouch with friends.. but ppl also use it to meet ppl.
As with anything online.. be careful on what you do post.. you never know who is watching.
by the way. .i am married too.. and so are a lot of ppl on 360.. try it you may like it.

Interesting question, something I hadn't really thought about.
At first, I just wanted to be able to use my own avatar on Y!A.
The I got a little more into the personalization of the 360 once I had it.
Now, what is it for?
Hmm.
I think it helps me to define myself through my experiences, as a whole and on an immediate basis. I can focus on certain thoughts and events in the blog, and expand upon them. And illustrate them.

The 360 lets people know a little more about me, to the extent that I want to be known. And it helps me know more about myself, in a way. I don't really use it much, but it's there if I need it.

I don't have a MySpace, but I know a lot of young people who do, and a few older ones. They use it more as a social outlet. I hear a lot of "visit my MySpace!" around the office. You don't hear that about 360.

My 360 page is private for "Family" only. Our family is so scattered, this is a great way of keeping in close contact with sharing news, photos and such. So yes it can be considered a form of "Bragging" amongst our family to share our accomplishments and good news. But we also have sad news now and then. Which of course is not bragging. Our family is also very busy as well as scattered. So this way we can use the message board as we please, without sitting at the computer for a couple hours at a time chatting in some chat room. No, I don't have Myspace.com and it's not a slap in the face to Myspace. We just simply don't have time for it.

LOL interesting question.

I thought your question was a lot of bullshit until i read it now i can understand why you added it to singles and dating.

Nope yahoo 360 can be used as a profile for metting new people and everything put together but if you really want that kind of thing i suggest you try yahoo personals.

But yahoo 360 is really much fun to use and i believe yahoo will add many more interesting options to it in the future.
