General Education Diploma- next best thing to a High School Diploma- It is for if you didn't for some reason finish school the regular way for whatever reason/s - you can get a secondary diploma- letting people know you still have knowledge, and to enter into college or some jobs- you need 1 or the other- Good Luck- hope this helps!! =)

General Equivalency Diploma, I believe. It is for those who decide to drop out of school when they become old enough to do so. Then, when they figure out they will never have a good paying job, with little education, some decide to take the GED exam. I hope this information helps some.
