I have a ton of them from my garden and I have no idea how to dry them so I can use them over Winter for cooking.

I thread then onto heavy thread through their stems... then hang them in the sun on my porch for a few weeks, and then the garage (cool & dry space). I then toss them into a mason Jar.

Sometimes I'll also hang them in the oven while I'm drying jerky-beef if the weather is humid.

Also do it will Bay Laurel leaves from down the street.

If they are still on the bushes just pull up the plants and hang them upside down in a dry place out of the sun.

it could have been a Japonica or Chipolte, they are dried smoked Jalapenos, Casacabelos to are small, even Cayenne peppers in there entire state, i'm a former chef, and characteristic offered dried crimson Savina Habeneros right here in Toronto ON from my buddy and la Hacienda interior the Kensington marketplace

The other way to do it is in a food dehydrator....Or slowly in the oven. Drying them this way also increases teh heat of the peppers. I am just about to start doing this myself with jalepenos, kung paos and cayannes.

I string mine on some type of twine and hang them. Or you can store them in a jar and leave the lid off and they dry.
