Sorry Larry, whether you're religious or not, you must agree that sex was invented by either God or Mother Nature. The purpose of sex is to keep the species going, all species.
It was made pleasureable in order that it would not be neglected. This goes for all living things, from the tinyest insect to humans, elephants, and everything else.
Now, if there is a heaven as envisioned by Christians, Jews, and Muslims, this heaven does not need to have its population kept up by births. It gets its people from earth, and once there they live forever. Therefore there is no necessity for births or sex.
So enjoy your sex while here on earth because once you're gone - - sorry, you've had it.

On the heavenly planets sex is much more enjoyable than on earth, and women are hundreds of times more beautiful. However, heavenly planets, just as this earth, are temporary. In the eternal spiritual world, the kingdom of God, everybody enjoys such a pleasure simply by serving God that no one is attracted to sex. Even Lord's devotees in this world spit at sex pleasure, because it is 10th class pleasure compared to pleasure derived from serving the Lord.
