Ok, get a load of this. (no names are real)

There is this rumour that I am going out with a guy named Jack.

Jack has just been dumped by my best friend Izzy.

I have like Jack since forever. My best friend Izzy knows this.

Izzy and my other friend Gwen have been working together to find out if Jack likes me. I only found this out yesterday.

Jack says he likes me 40% friend and 60% love.

Izzy and Gwen are going on exchange for four weeks. They both reckon me and Jack will be dating by the time they come back.

I really want the rumours to stop and for me and Jack to actually go out. I know there is no way of forcing love but how do i get:

A) The rumours to stop.
B) Me to go out with Jack?!?
C) Me and and Jack are alread really close friends. I know him and he knows me.
D) Is there any solution possible?!?!?

Thanks for your help guys, much appreciated.
xXx

OK, cut the friends out of the picture!!!! You need to approach Jack yourself!!! Hang out with Jack and see where it goes!!! If he just wants to stay friends; you can say you at least tried!!
If you keep the friends involved ther will always be rumors!!

OK this is a well written question but I have one for you: What kind of "best friend" are you to "lzzy" to want to romantically date a guy who just "dumped" her??!! That means you have the sensitivity and friendship abilities of a reptile! Also, if a boy/man/male likes you he will ask you out without being questioned, prodded, etc by your friends. Maybe he just not that into you OR maybe he realized that it would be mean-spirited to go out with the best friend of a girl he just dumped! Rumors stop when you ignore them. I know it's hard but that's what you have to do. Also, what's this Jack and I are "really close friends" stuff? Again if Lzzy is your best friend why are "really close" to ANYONE who would hurt her? I realize that you are probably young and clueless about life and relationships but one day you will learn some hard/painful lessons about why putting male attention and getting a boyfriend before common decency to your close girlfriends will backfire on you, and only get you labeled as a boy-crazy, backstabbing *****.

This is the easiest question I've had all day...simple just say:
"Hey Jack I like you a lot more than just a friend, and was wondering if you would like to go out with me." Yay now you got urself a Jack and the rumors are gone!!!

experience him out a lil. I f you experience that there is a few chemistry, purely ask him if he might want to bypass get some lunch sometime. Or ask if he'd want to bypass see the latest action picture. shop it gentle and a lil casual before everything till you get a bigger assessment of hoe he feels.
