You can start keeping busy, take a dance class st a local school, at night take a 30 mins walk, go hang out at the coffee shop and book stores we will met new people and after a month or two if no change then what can I say. It is time for you to move to where he is. On weekend go on trips to old friends and family members (the ones you have not seen in a long time) Go to an elderly home and read to those people. You being this busy how can you think about him. All these things are good for you.

Its hard to fall out of love like the way you want. Most couples fall out of love when some thing has happened that hurt the relation ship or when the spark dies down but it sounds like you still have a lot of spark for this person. The best thing for you to do is date other people to help take him off your mind and that may take a while. There is no cure for the love disease. Its to bad that you both are so far apart. Best wishes.

Here's one way that's 99% successful, time. Time subdues all, love, hate, and pain. And by time, i mean time where there is no contact between you and him. No phone, no AIM, no anything. See your brain responds to stimuli (thoughts of him, his voice, his picture) by accessing your collective memory and emotions of him. Speaking from a purely psychological standpoint, as time passes without any stimuli relating to him, the association between memories and emotional pain/suffering become weak. Thats when you remember things you and him did or things he gave you and you do not end up crying of falling in love again. All the things you and him shared will just be memories.
Now speaking from a normal person standpoint, time will let you heal from the pain of not being with him. I will allow you to meet new people and hang out with friends to forget about him. And sooner or later, you will get sick and tired of thinking of him and move on. Its a sad you know, but its the truth. Good luck.
