and then I noticed that on his bed it looks like they formed into these worm looking things, about a 1/2 cm long, very thin and brown. If I looked close enough they were visibly moving around. This is really discusting, what is it? Is it flea eggs?

These are flee eggs. It means your cat is infected with them badly. You need to take it to the vet. They will need to flee dip him/her. Tell them what they look like to make sure, however I am pretty sure they are flee larva. I had them a few years back and it took forever to get rid of them. You have to wash the bedding of the cat and sweep really well. But most important of all make sure the cat has had a flee dipping, flee combed, and bathed first. I use a really good spray for my cats and it keeps them flee free and my home as well. anything IE: flee, ticks jump on them they die right away. Make a vet apt. and describe what these worms/larva look like and they will help you get rid of them. good luck!

Sounds like maggots, give the cat a bath immediately, and then tomorrow, take it to the vet. It could have gotten into something rotting and gotten maggots on it, or it could have an injury that got infected. Regardless of whether its maggots or lice or whatever else it could be, the bath is the most important thing right now. Wash that bed with really strong detergent too.

Stop neglecting your cat and take it to a vet now before it dies.
