That's not the question...and FYI I do have approx. 1.5m to spend but would prefer to spend around 800k; I already know the prices; was asking about the best place to settle that has looser restrictions re: animals...

Puerto Rico is an US territory, so you won't have any problems regarding your US pets. Also there is no property tax, so you will save a lot of $$$. With $800 K you can buy a great house with an extraordinary location. Visit www.realtor.com, some of the major cities are: San Juan, Fajardo, Rinco, Ponce, ...

i think nevis,Turks & Caicos and maybe st kitts and usally small islands are really good the one that aren't very well known real cheap.
