he wasn't crazee he was geenius. Are you geenius? He was a visionary who was living in an age where most people could not even read or write. He was an incredible inventor and artist. Wonder what he would do if he lived now. Have you read about the Renaissance? May i gently suggest you do so? It is very interesting!

Hmmm, I am not sure he was 'crazee' or crazy. I know he was a very progressive thinker and came up with a lot of ideas that weren't accepted in his time (such as a flying machine) but that have since turned out to be quite possible and not so mad after all.

Besides even if he was crazy I am pretty sure that is not the reason for his fame. He is what is known as a 'Renaissance man' meaning he could do a lot of things and do them well a man infinitely curious and equally inventive . He was accomplished as an architect, anatomist, sculptor, engineer, inventor, scientist, mathematician and painter to name but a few.

So basically I think he has found fame through being brilliant and a genius and not through any craziness on his part. Maybe if you dedicate yourself to even one of the areas he explored you too might find some sort of fame but I wouldn't rely on being crazy to get you there. Besides fame for fame's sake is worthless... try being really good at something and the rest will follow.

He became famous for many reasons. He was a master painter who was years ahead of his time. He was so good that the man who was teaching him was the student instead. He also came up with ideas and inventions that were hundreds of years ahead of his time as well. For his time, Da Vinci was a genius. His use of colors and his knowledge of human anatomy made him a master painter.

There is a fine line between genius and insanity. You paint something as exquisite as the "Madonna of the Rocks" or come up with new technology and you could be famous too.

Becuase he was damn good at his craziness. A "flying machine" was unheard of in his time, but when built in modern days his design was (almost) flawless.

When people can't understand something, they appreciate it for the fear of looking silly.
