Lately I get up and want to do something...but I can't think of what to do....maybe its because all my family lives up north and I am stuck in Florida alone....I want to socialize in a group of people that I am a part of...family....and its not available to me! It leaves a huge void in my life, I'd move up out of here, but I barely make it from one paycheck to the next, I just don't have the funds to get out here right now...i'm stuck and I miss my family. Any suggestions on how to feel better when I feel this way?

well if it makes you feel any better i always feel alone and i live with my family. my mother always nelglected me becuse she was too busy chasing after my father (my father had an affair for 15 years) all her anger that she had inside was taken out on me. but i have friends who have a good realtionship with there families and frinds but still have a void in thier hearts. i think the reason that you are feeling this way now is becuse you might be going through a change or stuggle in your life but what should make you feel better is that even if you don't have your family close to you at the momment you have them back home ( you have some one loving you back home) my best friend moved away to a diffrent state and then i felt like i didn't have anyone left and nothing to do. So what we do is find time to talk on the phone at least 4 times a week and catch up it's no the same but it helps to make the situation a bit better. i'm sorry that you are feeling lonely i now that feeling can be very aching to deal with at times.

It sounds like you really need to move closer to your family. I would suggest making plans to move and ask your family to help. Maybe someone could let you stay with them for a while or they could help you find a job in their area. Lend you money? If possible you could get a second part time job or a loan to pay for moving expenses. If moving seems too overwhelming to contemplate right now set it as a goal for the future. Take a calender and circle a date that seems like a doable moving date. Set an amount of money that you can save per paycheck and focus on meeting your goal. Write little words of encouragement on the calender to keep your spirits high and focused on moving.

Stay in touch with them via regular mail, email, telephone. Begin saving a little bit at a time. YOu can do it. Cut out the little expenses and you can get up enough saved to move back home. Have you shared your desire to move back with any of your family? They may be willing to help. Think about your move and what you won't need. You can sell stuff and make extra money for the move. YOu need to be with family. There is nothing as wonderful as having family who loves us and undertands us. I encourage you to make the move home.
