Everyone I know is complaining about taxes and it does not stop with federal and state taxes. Think about the basics like the meals tax, taxes on your phone bill, excise tax, gasoline tax, cigarette tax, alcohol tax etc. It doesn't even stop when you die. I

Taxes do make it difficult to make ends meet. For example, I have a friend who is divorced. He has been sick for years & unable to work. He gets support from his ex, but because it's taxable he can't afford to be self sufficient. If he didn't have to pay taxes on the support he could just about make it. So technically in the end the government does not make out because he has to have public assistance/medical. What ends up happening is that the taxes go into one government pot & the the government has to take funds out of another one of their pots to support him.

Taxes make it more difficult for everyone--but they are necessary if we want to have a government (without money the government couldn't function either). But some types of income should just not be taxable (they really kick you when you're down)! It's rediculous that unemployment and spousal support are taxable, for example.

Suggest private IRA at your bank. Research the IRS.gov site for other tax reductions. Get a free consult with a good tax "advisor " and make sure you are getting and filing everything to the best tax reductions. Normal tax preparing companies do not usually offer advice; they only take the information you provide and place it in the forms correctly.

i dont understand your question exactly..u mean how they do it..?
i guess with alot of willpower ,cause i know it must not be easy for alot of us.
my opinion about high taxes..hmm well, gets the poor more poor, and the rich, richer.
a logical solution,to get rid of the burden of paying so much taxes,is simply quit paying taxes till they get lowered..:-).
greetings.
