If you put it in with no evidence, we can take it out with no evidence.

The unexplained is not evidence

I find no reason to believe God doesn't exist as you have belief that God doesn't. In fact, the position to be in would be angnostic because then your brain is not clouded by ABSOLUTES. Nobody can be absolutely positive about ANYTHING. All is subjecture upon our parts. An atheist is no different than a Baptist to me, both of them think they know all the answers and try to shove their opinions down the throats of others. You cannot do any scientific thought upon possibilities if your mind is intractable.

Why does it matter? I mean if you really don't believe and see absolutely no evidence, why are you struggling so hard to put the burden of proof onto others as if you are looking for evidence?

No offense, but I really don't understand why some do this. It does look like you are looking for evidence, you're just not satisfied with what you have seen so far.

And the whole "we're smarter"... does this mean I can one Atheist of my choosing and place him/her against all the people in the world who do belileve in a Higher Power of some sort and they will automatically be smarter?

If you're wanting to get at them... you need a different approach. Most people who believe in something see no reason to give any proof to another person. So really, all you are doing is trying to force the situation... and end up building up your own straw man.

When someone speaks to you, it is simply logical to assume that he truly exists.

God has spoken to his believers in many, many ways throughout all of human history, and he continues to do so, today.

Once heard, his voice cannot be ignored.

I suggest you try to control the demands of your obviously superior intellect long enough to truly listen.

Then see what happens.

God 's existence cannot be proven to one who refuses to see. Neither can Gods non existence be proven to one who KNOWS. Such as I.
