OK, maybe i don't get this sin thing. But if you have nothing else to feed them, it may be worse to let them go hungry.
If you have nothing else to feed them, look into country or church programs to give you food baskets of basics to feed your family. The cat food won't hurt the kids, but wouldn't it be nicer to have peanut butter and jelly.

It is only a sin if you can afford real people food for them and you just choose to feed them cat food.
If you are financially strapped and can't afford to feed them good U.S.D.A. approved food for humans perhaps your have a food bank near you where you can acquire some good wholesome food, but if there is no other way of obtaining good food for them then feeding them catfood is not a sin.
What is a sin is making babies that you can't afford to support, but that sin has already been committed if you are at this point, and you need to ask for God's forgiveness and repent, in your heart for this sin.
If I were you, I'd consider getting your tubes tied now.

No, but it is stupid and potentially criminal. Tuna on sale is better and cheaper. Peanut Butter is very good and you get more serving out of a jar than any cat food can.
Also look for eggs and pancake mix. Eggs are pretty cheap and pancake mix in large boxes only costs a few pennies a serving.

well maybe not a sin, but you could get arrested by child services for that. Cat food doesnt have the nutrients that humans needs, plus its only made for cats, not human consumbtion. I would recommend, if your hurting that much for food, go to your local soup kitchen or get food stamps.

Why would you do that? A loaf of bread and a jar of peanut butter cost less than the cat food. If you don't have $$ for food, there are agency's that will help you. I really hope your kidding.

If you cannot afford food for your children you should consider getting assistance from a church or government agency. Children need proper nutrition to grow. Perhaps cat food is not indigestible for humans but it is not what children need to grow.
Your state vocational rehabilitation agency should be able to assist you in getting a better job.

If there was no other thing you could feed them, like if you were in Hurricane Katrina, and that is all you could get, then go for it. But make no ex cusses, if you can't get work, or something like that there are places that would come to your assistance, and it would be poor judgment.

That's twisted, because cat food costs way more than real food.

why would you want to? But no, I wouldn't think it would be a sin.... but the good book does say "do unto others" so does that mean you wouldn't mind being fed that through your childhood?
