My younger boy was once watching my wife getting dressed and said 'Mummy, how come your knickers are so small when your bum is so big'. I just felt it deserved a wider audience.
Beat that!

My 2 year old son asked for a drink, but trying to learn him to use his manners I asked him what the magic word was and he replied.................
"Abracadabra"
He couldn't understand why we laughed so much.

Not sure if i can beat that (by the way i would kill my hubby) but...I live in the city and this summer my children and I went to my hometown out of state to visit some friends and family. The town I grew up in is quite small, and when we got to my uncle's house he was mowing the grass and my son looked at my dad and asked what grass was for! We all still laugh at it although it's kind of sad. Also, we were at a friends house and he asked for a drink of water, being told to help himself, he asked where the filter was. I thought my small town friends were going to die!

I am 39 wks pregnant and I have a seven yr old son. A few months ago (I think I was 6mnths prg at the time) my son and I were looking at pictures of the baby in the womb. I said to him, "This is what your sister looked like at 1 mnth." Flip the page and then do two months etc. When we got to where I was in the pregnancy he flips the page and yells, "How do they know what she will look like next month?"
It was cute

I don't know if I can beat that, but my 4-year-old niece was talking about camping, and I asked her about bears.

She said, "Bears are undiscussion." And refused to talk to me for a few minutes.

That, and she's been watching Mary Poppins a lot and she's invented a game where she says "suprecalagragalisticexpiala - punch!" and then socks someone in the arm.

My kid was watching a skimpily clad nightclub singer once at a 5-star hotel lounge. Kid must have been abt 3 then. She was dancing and swaying to the music - so the singer invited her to say something. To my horror, when the singer handed her the microphone, my kid said " Mummy, is this lady naked?"

My mother in law said maybe next time you could go with us. So the next week at daycare he tells his teacher that his grandparents were going to take him Bar Hopping!! I started to laugh I said no no no... Bar Harbor.

While camping this summer, my 4 year old son tipped while getting out of the camper and promptly exclaimed that this was his "Worst day ever!". A few minutes later my wife gave him a plate of pancakes and he then smiled and said this was "His best day ever!'
