You can buy a package of latex gloves in the supermarket in the household products section, by the mops and brooms. Be careful of the items you use when you're handling peppers, too, like the knife you cut them with, and the cutting board, and any surfaces (countertop), bowls or plates. They will carry the oils. Use a paper towel or napkin when you remove the gloves so you don't transfer the oils to your fingers when you remove them. Throw them away, don't reuse them, you'll get the oils all over your hands again.
