Actually, you are probably one of the smarter ones in your circle. Seems like everyone is running helter skelter into some kind of relationship, not a good one, not a lasting one, not one based on friendship or trust or respect, just some kind of relationship so they can validate themselves with the announcement that they have a boyfriend. This is the time in your life when all you have to consider is what you want. Not how it makes some guy feel or be walking on eggshells because you might lose him. (Who is too young to understand anything about women and isn't going to stay anyway.) You don't have to deal with drama. You'll never know how nice that is. That is until later. Unless....you take the time to cultivate a good friendship with a guy. Know him for who he is, ask yourself if you respect him and if other people treat him with respect. Take a good look at whether or not he is worthy of trust. No backstabbing or cheating. Guys take a long, long time before they can see a girl as a person. Their bodies react to what they see. They misinterpret this arousal as love. They think they love all the girls that stimulate them and they don't know yet that this is a reaction they will learn to control. Now is when you learn what it is to be a friend. If you skip this part then you can't have a good love relationship because love ebbs and flows and friendship holds that bond together when maybe you're not so in love for the moment. Friendship allows you to still see this person as worthy of you. Let the guys admire you and see you as a safe person to talk to you. Sometimes it freaks them out if their friend becomes this kissy-face clone of the person they thought they knew. He will come to you. He will be interested in what you do and what you like. He will respect you and give you good reason to trust him. There are many stepping stones to the final relationship. Each one is a growing and learning experience about what you need and what other people will expect from you. Just keep being yourself, learn to make responsible decisions and your self confidence and charm will draw the right guy to you.

I didn't have a boyfriend until I was 15 and I was the last of my friends to have one. I liked guys and they liked me but when you are 12 & 13 years old it is kind of hard to go out on dates, you pretty much just talk on the phone or hang out in groups. I think it is important for some kids to just say that they are a couple but for me it just seemed too ackward. I think a lot of boys feel the same way, if they ask you out what can you do? Where can you go. Their parents will know and that can embarrass them. They have no money to take you out and no transportation to take you there. I am glad I didn't start dating until the guys I dated could actually take me out, it made it more special.

At 13 you should only just be thinking of dating now. 4th grade is way to young for this. If any one of my grandsons tried to date, I would absolutely refuse to allow it.

Don't be afraid. Maybe the boys you've grown up with think you are unattainable. Wait until you get into high school, and all those boys you've never met before get a look at you.

But you should always be selective. Don't date the first guy that asks unless you first know what sort of person he is. Talk to him. Get to know him. And do not ever move into too much intimacy until YOU are ready!

no!!! you don't have to follow the trend of your friends believe me having a boy friend is not what it is cracked up to be. the most that would happen is you say hi in the halls and then in a week or so you break up. if you think your beautiful then you shouldn't need a boyfriend to tell you that, be your own person. Okay?

be a leader not a follower, set examples, you need to get a good education...don't get me wrong boys are a good thiing but don't give your life up for them, stay in school and don't be presured.your still young and have plenty of time 4 that!!!!you'll know when it's time for that anyway when the right guy comes along.

Dont rush it! You are still young. Your journey is not yet starting, you are still preparing for it. Ok?

Dont mind what people thinks about you. Keep in mind that you are doing the right thing. Because it is difficult to regret something. Count it from me.

Focus at your studies! Let them knock but dont let them enter. Ok?

Have a nice day!

Don't worry about it. One of my friends is drop dead gorgeous and I am SOOO jealous of her. She didn't get a boyfriend untill college because all the high school boys were too immature to respect her for who she is.

I don't understand "us it wrong" part of your question (Must be Blondie). First thing you need to do is learn how to spell. Second thing grow your young a55 up. Third thing learn how to use spell check!
