Hi there

Firstly it depends where you are going in Morocco. If you are travelling to the tourist areas like agadir or marrakech so you can expect to pay more than if you would in less touristy areas. For every £1 you get roughly 16 dirhams. Food and drinks are cheap. we had a 3 course meal with beers for 500 dirhams in agadir which works out at about £31 so its cheap. You can only get your dirhams once you get to morocco. You can change it in the airport when you arrive or if you are going to agadir there is a small shop opposite the ramada las almohades hotel who also do a good exchange rate. You will have a great time but just be aware that you will be going during ramadan and i have no idea how restaurants and things work at that time of the year. Im going in 2 weeks maybe see u there!
