I was looking at some pictures of Burma the other day and I noticed that in some of them there were snakes in city streets or just relaxing on restaurant tables while someone ate right next to it. And these were pretty big snakes too. Do snakes and the Burmese people coexist so closely together?

There are many snakes in Burma some extremely poisonous and some not. Best to treat all snakes in Asian countries very carefully. Anti venom serum is not always readily available.
