The most common symptom is pain which is sometimes accompanied by redness and swelling around the area. Unexplained fractures usually occur after significant destruction of the bone.

Pain, swelling, erythematous skin in the area (basically red), tenderness and unexplained fractures or breaks. Sometimes the skin is warmer above the affected bone.

Weak, brittle bones that break very easily - sometimes without any injury. Also pain is quite severe.
