too much will. but if its just a few licks here and there, the dog will be okay. now a puppy on the other hand...if youre asking because the dog accidentally got into some beer, it depends on how much was drank. but it should be okay. and if youre asking because you actually want to give the dog some beer, i would wait till the dog is older. (i dont condone giving dogs beer, but if thats what youre gonna do, then thats what youre gonna do!) it doesnt hurt them (as long as its not a lot of beer, no more than half a can) but they dont really benefit from it either.

Might get him drunk...a little hang over in the morning....you might also have something to clean up, but other then that I dont see where it would. My oldest pit can drink a whole can of beer, then it gets drunk and goes to sleep..lol

I wouldnt give your small pup a whole can of beer though, might try a little sip, but thats about it.

It wouldn't take much to hurt him pretty bad, but if he just lapped at a spill until you were able to drag him away from it, and he only got a tiny bit, it probably won't do any harm. Make him sleepy, no doubt. But never, NEVER intentionally feed alcoholic beverages to an animal in order to laugh at how he behaves. It is cruelty in the extreme, because the poor animal assumes he is deathly sick, and goes into his fixing to die instincts. That's cruel. Also, it takes very little to really kill him, and that is not only cruel, it is criminal.

Yes. Beer is not a proper diet for a puppy. Please do not give your puppy beer. If you cannot properly take care of your puppy give it to me. I will take care of him/her and give it a good home.

In very small amounts (depending on their body weight), no. I regularly take my 10-month old puppy to the pub with me, and let her have a few sips of Guinness over the course of the evening. She loves it, and it hasn't done her any harm.

Totally depends on how much. It's not deadly in small quantities, but not good for them either. In general they should not consume much other than dog food and water.

as long as its not too much. i would be worried if a 4 lb puppy had more than 5 to 6 ounces.
